What is FEATURE PM004 used for?

On what logic its return value is configured? And where is the return value configured so that i cud call it into the feature?

wont i have to create the required payroll program variant? if yes, then how? if no, is it created standardly?

Hi Ritu,

the feature can be used doe the following purpose -

When you finance a person in HR Funds and Position Management, you can simulate a payroll run to determine the financing required for the person in question.

Payroll simulation and display of the remuneration form in the Basic Pay infotype (0008). This feature controls the display of the

Payroll simulation pushbutton, and ensures that the correct payroll program variant is called up for the simulated payroll run.

(For the Austrian public sector, a payroll run is simulated to apply taxation to pensions. In this case, the feature ensures that the

correct payroll program variant is called up for the simulated payroll run.)

following are the decision parameter for the feature . u dont need to call the return value.

PERSA Personnel Area

BTRTL Personnel Subarea

PERSG Employee Group

PERSK Employee Subgroup

ABKRS Payroll Area

SCODE Simulation Code

Fetaure will automatically do that by the set of parameter.
