E-Recruitment - Error "An Internal Error Occured Please try again Later"

Hi Experts,

When I try generating the url, It popups for User Name and Password, then it gives the Message like this..

"An Intenal error occured, Please try again later"

Kindly help, Is that any Techinical Settings I have missed to get this error...?

Hi,

I am facing the same error.

For 1 of the user we are getting the same error.

Checked slg1 logs, giving error in programs CL_HRRCF_START_A==============CP and CL_HRRCF_ABSTRACT_CONTROLLER==CP.

Showing something like Return code (ORA-....) 942 and user or employee not assigned.

I tried runnig report rcf_create_user, tht says user already exist.

Please provide your suggestions regarding this.

Hi,

can you check HRP1001 if the objects for the candidate and the relations between them are all existing for today? There should be a CP linked to the User (attation relation t user i external so there is only the CP -> US relation existing but not the other direction. The CP should be linked to a NA (internal relation) and a BP (external relation) object. If you are working with an internal candidate there should be an additional relation CP -> P.

Furthermore check the current record in HRP5102 for the NA key to ensure that the IS_DEREGISTERED flag is not set.

This error is common in e-recruitment..

Check for the portal services once.. if it is ok then

SLG1 will help you to sort out the issue.

Hello,

if you are on an integrated system HR_SYNC_PERSON (for e-recruiting 300) or HRALXSYNC (for e-recruiting 600) will not work like magic. You have to set up the whole HR / BP / E-Rec integration first to allow the system to create the candidate which is necessary to logon / to work in e-recruiting. Furthermore running these reports requires a HR master data for you user something usually not found on the development system. You can find details on setting up the Integration in note 997181 for the different e-recruiting releases.

The whole setup usually takes some time till it runs properly. So if you are at the very beginning of a project and need candidates for the core rollout team members to get a first look on the system you use RCF_CREATE_USER also on an integrated installation.

On a standalone system you do the same, start with RCF_CREATE_USER for the rollout team while in production candidates are created using ALE.

Hi Nilesh,

The issue is with the Questionniare template (i.e., VA(questionnaire) or VB (question) objects )which is attached to the requisition as the process template in the General job information while creating the Requisition.

Need to check the VA and VB objects are consistent across all the infotypes.

Creation of the question

Creates an VB object it has to be assigned to the Questionarie group.

When VB created its available in HRP1000 and when its assigned for quest group it will be available in T77RCF_VB_ATTR.

Creation of the Questtinaionare.

When the questionaries are created the VA object gets created in the infotype 1000

Later the Questions can be added to the Questionnarie. T77RCF_VA_ATTR

Adding the question to the Questionnaire.

When the Question is added to the Questionnaire then there will be records in HRP1001 with the relationships A/B 605.

I checked in SLG1, It shows the error mesages asfollows, Kindly guide me what steps I have to take to resolve this. My System is integration with HR.

(*) The User is not assigned a Candidate or Employee.

Hello Nirmal,

I conclude that your HR and ERec are on same system.

In this case; users are created using standard transactions (SU01) and the required E-Recruiting-specific data (such as Candidate) is added with the HR_SYNC_PERSON or HRALXSYNC report.

If HR and ERec are on diff systems then use report RCF_CREATE_USER.

Also go through the IMG node;

SAP E-Recruiting-> Technical Settings->SAP ERP Central Component(ECC) Integration

Are you getting this error while generating url? If yes, you are using standalone or integrated system for ERecruitment..

Check the application log using transaction SLG1.
