Hi Everybody,

Dispatcher is not running . The following error found in dev_disp file

ERROR => e=13 semget(20046,1,1023) (13: Permission denied) [semux.c 939]

In dev_ms

Did you performed any tasks before the problem started?... like kernel upgrade?

Hello,

It look like shared memory problem.

If your OS is unix,

1. Stop SAP System

2. Make sure that all processes are stopped (Use "ps -ef" command)

3. Run cleanipc command

4. Start SAP system.

If OS is windows,

You need to reboot your server.

Please let us know update.

Sorry to disappoint you but cleanipc command does not exist in release 700... in fact I think they stop putting it on kernels since version 620 or so.

HI,

Tried the same , but no luck.

We are updating the SAP kernel( 185-221), but after updation SAP instance not started.

Then we revert back the old kernel from backup.

Now instance started but dispatcher not working.

Hi, did you stop the SAP System before Kernel Upgrade (silly question, but sometimes I forget it also )
