goto transaction OSS1 -> paramtere - technical settings and check connection to SAP is configured.

If not, provide all valiues and save which will genreate the required RFC conections to SAP.

OSS1 settings are based on SAP router at your side. check whether both SAPOSS and SAP-OSS is working or not.

Hi,

Check your oss connection first.

Setup the connection according to the document attached to below note and try again.

Hi,

Unable to connect to SAPNet message server

1. Check your SAProuter is running & you have allowed your development server in SAProuttab file.

2. Check the OSS1 t-code entries you should have below details

a. SAProuter at customer end:-

Saprouter1

Name : <Your SAProuters correct host name>

IP Address: <Your SAProuters local IP address>

Instance No: <99> By Default. If you have started your sap router with -S 32xx option then use xx value here.

b. Saprouter and SAPNet Message Server at SAP

Name : sapserv2

IP Address: 194.39.131.34

Instance No: 99

Now Save these settings & test the connection. It should work now.

Thanks,

Hi,

as per the note 812386 - RFC connection to the SAPNet R/3 front end, am trying to :

Use the following path to create SAPNET_RTCC: SE38 -> RTCCTOOL -> list -> Refresh from SAPNet

am getting mesage as :

The testlogin to SapNet R/3 (former OSS) has failed with following messages:

Error when opening an RFC connection

RFC ping failed / Communication failure

Case 1: Connection test (RFC ping) fails

In case of a only temporary 'route permission denied', try once more later.

Else, please choose transaction OSS1, 'Parameters>Technical settings'.

Adjust the settings for SAProuters etc. as described in note 33135.

In case of permanent 'route permission denied', you may need to modify your

SAProuter route permission table as per note 30289.

Contact your network administrator for assistance.

If the network connection to SAP has never been set up, please consult

note 28976.

You can test the connection manually by choosing transaction SM59,

'R/3 connections-> SAPOSS' and pressing the button 'Test connection'.

Case 2: Connection test (RFC ping) is o.k.

If you use another RFC destination to SapNet than SAPOSS,

you can specify it here: SAPNET_RTCC

If the connection cannot be enabled, choose "Use outdated recommendations"

below. The program will then use the last available recommendation set

which dates from 12.08.2009 17:05:04 .
