SAP Back ground Jobs getting cancel automatically

Hi All,

All schedule Background jobs getting cancel automatically in ECC 5 server. Also not getting any job log in respective schedule job. please help me out with expert suggestions.

Hi Gyan,

Also check the below

Login to your OS of application sever.

goto <drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMG<00>\SYS\global

check whether folder <client no>JOBLG exits there

if folder not exits , then also yoiur job get fail.

Thanks a lot, problem resolved . Mentioned folder was corrupted once new folder with same name created Bg start working.

Hi Gyan,

First try to delete all the old sool which is not in use.

You can delete the spool using the report :- RSPO1041

After deleting the spool try again & let us know the status.

i did this report run also clean inconsistency in SPAD , but still job getting cancel and not creating any logs against any canceled job.

Hello,

1)Are the bgd workprocess free in the system currently?Check if there are any long running jobs holding them.

2)Check for the sm21/sm50 bgd wp traces.

3)Check if the filesystem is full as you suggest no logs are being written.

4)Check if the user who has scheduled the job is locked ?

Bgd Work process are free but with error code 373,223,007 etc for all 5 bg wp

Getting so may Tem se management errors.

Some TemSe objects are stored in files. To do this, a path name is set up from the TemSe object name. To be able to use this path, TemSe management requires a directory. It attempted to create it itself. However, this did not succeed.

File system having free space

Hi ,

You may check with running report BTCTRNS2.

Even if this doesnot reolve your issue.Please restart your system once so that all your buffer will be cleraed & your jobs will start as usual again.

There are no jobs suspended . Server restart so many time . issue is not with buffer .

This Note does not meet with my server patch no. , its ECC 5.0 with basis SAP_BASIS 640 0021 SAPKB64021 SAP Basis Component, however note is for BASIS 7.0

please let me know if any note which related with my server config.
