Error as Deficit in Sales Order stock in VL02N

Hi Experts,

We have a problem while doing PGI in VL02N we are getting below mentioned error as Deficit in Sales Order stock. We have analyzed and found that although GR for PO is done, the Customer stock for Sales is not getting updated .we has referred in the same in MD04 also. So while doing PGI the error "Deficit in Sales Order stock" is displayed.

Please guide us to proceed further on this issue.

what Item category does your purchase order have?

Where did the GR post to? to your normal unrestricted stock?

if yes, then do a transfer posting to sales order stock with movement 412 E

Check MMBE whether the stock is showing as Sales order stock (if yes you can check the sales order number by double clicking on it).If not then transfer the stock to sales order stock through 412 E......
