BP replication between CRM and ECC

Dear All,

We are facing BP replication issue between CRM and ECC. We have set up PIDE on ECC side already. Number ranges are set up and consistent between systems. Now I create a new Prospect in CRM, and expect it to flow into ECC without error. It didn't happen. System gave me this error message: "The OPEN_DI of BTE DE_BALE could not determine anyh function modules".

Could you provide insight on how to fix this issue?

Hi Leon,

If you are using custom roles defined in CRM, please refer to SAP Note # 914437, the standard BTE which maps ECC account groups to CRM Business Partner Roles has to be enhanced using a custom User exit in ECC to map custom BP role in CRM to the account group in ECC.

You might need to check in tcode FIBF>Setting>P/S Modules-->of a Customer. Assign the Event DE_EIOUT and assign the FM to this event in ECC system.

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback. We later found out that the error was due to missing value in one required field on the ECC side. We put value in the field while creating the business partner in CRM, and it replicated to ECC successfully. Sometimes SAP error message can be more than misleading...
