Hi

I hope you found solution after this long time.

Just to share my experience with you ( as you may already found out the same ), your issue could be resolved by renaming the printer to any name without space(s).

Regards,

Abdulla

A quick workaround is define a printer in SPAD with Access method G the will force a pop-up for every print action where you can select the local printer from a drop down list, the > 40 charcter printer name is not a problem there.

I suggest you change the printing method to "G", much more stable printing interface.

Hi,

You are getting the error because the printer name is greater than 40 characters.

The SAPLPD can only recognize printer names with 40 characters or less.

From the log, i believe you are using the printer BKC_7THFLR_HPCOLOR3800 ON THMUMGDCPS01 (FROM BKCDT1017) IN SESSION 11

but the SAPLPD is recognizing only till BKC_7thFlr_HPColor3800 on THMUMGDCPS01.

Try to change the printer name .. it will work

I think you are right, his printer name is too long to print correctly.
