You can download SAPCAR from http://service.sap.com/swdc

Then Download / Support Packages and Patches / Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group / Additional Components / SAPCAR / SAPCAR 7.10 / choose your architecture and operating system

Now I downloaded BRSTUDIO710EN__002.SAR for BR*Studio and SAPCAR_2-20002090.exe (Windows IA32Bits).

I try this at the DOS prompt and I get an error...

C:\Temp>SAPCAR_2-20002090.exe -x BRSTUDIO710EN__002.SAR

SAPCAR: error opening DEFAULT.SAR (error 6). The system cannot find the file spe

cified.

SAPCAR: 0 file(s) extracted

What am I doing wrong?

(I am trying to install BR*Studio on my PC to manage the SAP systems remotely)

Hi,

Try this one.

C:\Temp>SAPCAR_2-20002090.exe -xvf <PATH OF SAR FILE>\ BRSTUDIO710EN__002.SAR

Here assume your SAPCAR is in C:\Temp folder.

<PATH OF SAR FILE>---> Give the path for the SAR file i.e C:\BRSTUDIO\BRSTUDIO710EN__002.SAR

比如你下载下来的sapcar.exe文件和.rar 文件都放在F盘的123文件夹 F:123

F:123>sapcar -xvf BRSTUDIO710EN__002.SAR

如果想同时解压一大堆的SAR文件，那么：

F:123>sapcar -xvf u201C×.SARu201D

这样，就将123文件夹中的所有sar文件同时进行了解压，对于在sap网站中下载的大量sar文件，只有这样了！
