In this situation i would suggest to do following steps:
1) Delete TMS configuration of (only) BIQ system
2) Delete BIQ system in your domain Controller system(delete system doewn't mean to touch any routes are layers)
3)Login into BIQ system and include this system in your exixting landscape
4)Loign into domain controller and approve newly added system(BIQ)
5)Distribute TMS configuration to newly added system(BIQ)
Above steps are safer compare to other, and also repairs/rebuilts all configurations

Nick Loy

Hey Anil,
Thank for reply, I think we figure-it-out problem... and thats really strange
anyway! OS is Windows 2003 under Oracle DB 10g.
TRANSDIR =
host-name\sapmnt\trans for all SLD in BI system
thats directory look like network shair which is no drive-letter assigned
When I was trying to access that folder (I got security access permission error) even I can't access PRD server...
I will talk with my network team... lets see what gonna be happend
But the strange thing is that same directory structure in PI SLD too, I can't access that folder in PI servers in OS level, but transport working fine...
Hi,
Which OS platform you are using in your landsscape.
Pls share the value present in file TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL of all the system DEV/QTY/PRD
Thanks
Anil

TP_DOMAIN_BID.PFL could not be opened for writing (permission denied)
Seems like permissions issue...check your common tp directory file permissions and give atleast read permissions for everyone or give full permissions for all SAP users.

Is your trans directory comman ....
i.e usr/sap/trans is comman for all system i.r dev , qty and prodcution.
or
every system has its own trans directory.
if it is command then , provide read and write access to dev qty and prd to that comman usr/sap/trans.
Thanks

Angeline Purnama...
Hi,
Please check sharing of SAP folder is there or it is removed.
Try to access //hostname/sapmnt/
If it is not then there is problem windows security.

recreate the transport root
Best option is to reconfigure the STMS
I don't think re-configuring is the proper and best solution for this.
First check all the TMS related RFCs(If there any inconsistancy, change IP to Hostname and recheck)...
And distribute the TMS configuration from your domain controller to all the systems inculded in landscape.

That is what I told you to check for sharing of SAP folder. This is windows security problem.
On microsoft security patch is available for windows server 2003 x64 edition.
Here is link
We faced the same error and after applying this patch it is solved.

Just make sure /usr/sap/trans is mounted and the permissions are intact Also see whether sidadm is able to write into it.
Just have a look at /usr/sap/trans/bin and make sure the all the profiles are available there and have the right permission.

Hi Angleine,
Kindly recreate the transport root, based on your landscape, either two or three system landscape.
I dont think like restarting the system will solve the issue, as the changes you make stores in DB which is
persistrent not like our Windows systems where all the services are started from scratch.
