You can close the production when your all the cost are booked completely. Like given below

1. when the GR happen against the production

2. all confirmations made against the production order

3. All overhead costs are booked.

4. Then run the month end process refer our experts help below.

For order settlement, refer to Mr. Bramhankar's inputs:

1. After Final Confirmation of Order ( Status : CNF) make GR for for order using Tcode : MIGO / MB31 so Production Order Status will be DLV.

2. Then complete the order technically by using Tcode : CO02--> Functions ( Menu)---> Restrict Processing -

> Technically Complete. You can carry out TECO for multiple Orders in Tcode : COHV (Mass Processing).

3.Now Calculate Overheads using Tcode : KGI2 - Individual Processing

CO43 - Collective Processing

4.Calculate WIP using Tcode : KKAX - Individual Processing

KKAO - Collective Processing

5.Calculate Variance by using Tcode : KKS2 - Individual Processing

KKS1 - Collective Processing

6.Finally do the settlement of Order in Tcode : KO88 - Individual Processing

CO88 - Collective Processing

For standard price, refer to the below thread:

Hope the above helps.

Ganesh

Hi

Before closing the order you should confirm the order balance must be zero in production order -- > costs -- > Balance

Legal valuation ,Group valuation, Profit center valuation , other wise system won't allow to close

This is achieved by order settlement process

As a CO specialist, we prefer either the CLSD status or a Deletion Flag (which is preparation of archiving)

CLSD and DLFL can only be set on an order when all Financial trransactions are completed. and After the status is set, no more transactions with financial impact can occur.

Once either of these status are set (we use the DLFL) the order is no longer process in our background month-end settlement jobs, This save processing time.

We discovered this as month-end processes approached 6 hours for production jobs. When we set the DLFL based on no activity for 3 months after final delivery, monthend process dropped to 2 hours. We set DLFL each month and the processing time has never gone over 2.5 hours

Hi,

As per production point of view once you do Gi,Confirmation ,GRN ,your material moved from quality to unrestricted you can do TECO of your order ( TECO means technically order complted )

Once you do TECO all open reservation for this order will get deleted.

After all activities like order settelment done you can close your order

Dear Satya ,

Production order CLOSED means after completion of confirmation and settlement the order is fully closed for further processing. You can close the Production Order Only when you have full sttelement and your production order status are REL,GMPS,CNF.DLV,TECO mainly .How ever , based on the system startus set up in BS22 , you can also close production order before GMPS,CNF happend.

To mass Close Production order you can goto CORM/COHV

Goto CORM -Select Production Order , Give Order Type , Plant Code ,Order Number if u have , Select Maximum Number , Remove Test run and Execute

Hope this will help your requirement
