Dear all,
i tried to install Solman in order to generate xml file for EHP installation.
The solman is on SPS22. When i tried to create a new maintenance transaction, it cannot continue to Select Files step with this error:
You are not authorized to perform the activity selected last
I dont know what kind of authorization should i set. Please help. I use user solman_admin as generated by basic config.
Please help.
Regards & many thanks,
Fendhy

Hello Fendhy,
Have you recently going to SP22?
When you did, was the Central correction Note 1405878 - "Solution Manager -Basic functions SP22 and Higher" applied to the system?
If not, please apply this note.
Additionally you can visit http://service.sap.com/maintenanceoptimizer and http://service.sap.com/instguides and check the security guide for required authorizations.
Regards,
Paul

Hi,
Assign role SAP_MAINT_OPT_ADD to the user. Also check the SAP Note # 1032322 - Authorization checks in maintenance optimizer. You may also check SU53 for missing authorization.
