Hi gaurav,

The following are the different types of IDOC processing.

0 Mass processing

1 Individual input

2 Individual input with IDoc lock in CALL TRANSACTION

Any inbound/outbound IDOC which are created are processed via a function module. The type of the Processing also should be maintained and these are maintained in the ALE table 'Function modules for ALE-EDI inbound processing'.

An entry in BD51 shall serve the above purpose.

Hi,

When you are using process codes for inbound processing which are created for processing via a function module

they need to be maintained in the ALE table 'Function modules for ALE-EDI inbound processing'.

This can be done when you make an entry in BD51 and inturn Transaction BD51 is used to maintain view V_TBD51.Please check tables TBD51 and TBD52 for more information.

THanks and Regards,

Hi P Bharadwaj,

Thanks for the input. But I am more interested to know the purpose of column 'How the IDOCS would be processed(0,1,2)?

Thanks,

Gaurav
