FYI : SAP_LocalSystem is the fallback Alias, in case the called Alias is not available.
You don't need to setup the system SAP_LocalSystem

Hi Venkatesh ,
Also go through all the properties of your system object to ensure that you have not missed anything .
Perform connection tests for your system object to see if there are any issues with it .

Mayank

Hi,
Observe this part of error...
the problem occured at position 310. Cannot process expression <System.client> because Invalid System Attribute: System: &\#39;SAP_LocalSystem&\#39;, Attribute: &\#39;client&\#39;. at
as per that, error may be because of an invalied System Alias/Name/ID.
Please check if all the above are maintained properly.

Hi Venkatesh,
As Ram asked, have you had established connection b/w Portal and your SRM application?
In case if you have not kindly search in SDN for establishing connection with ECC from portal, same steps applies b/w portal and any SAP system.
Thanks,
Jakes.

Venkatesh,
Its looks like, there is no system created/available to connect your backend.
You can create a system in System Admin -> System Config -> System Landscape -> Portal Content -> Create a new System object and give backend parameter to connect to your SRM system.
and refer the system in your iView.
If the system is already EXIST, just test the connection parameter and check you are able perform connection test successfuly.

Please check with the version of the browser you are using.
If it is IE8 verstion, you will face the error as Portal is not compatible with IE8 version.

Hope you will not the issue now.
