Change the data connection session timeout value

Hi gurus,

I have a dashboard build directly on SAP BW 7.01 with Xcelsius 2008 SP3. It works fine, but after a while when I haven't refreshed the dashboard, I get the following error message when trying to refresh:

"Cannot acces external data

The data connection session with BI Web runtime over the BICS Remote Web Service is expired. Press F5 to refresh the dashboard."

There must be some values I can change in Netweaver to extend the session time. Do you know which values define the session time and where I can change this?

Hi Mike,

I have not figured this out yet. I hope somebody else might have a good idea. I will let you know if I find the solution, and I hope you will do the same:-)
