Hi,

We are using a tasklist which contains a single operation. We are

attaching this task list into a single cycle maintenance plan created

through IP41. When we schedule the plan using IP10,the call object is

getting generated with the plan date. The call object configured for the

maintenance plan category is order. When we access the order, we could

find two operations one from the task list and the other one which is

populating additionally. The additional operation whose text is getting

copied from the order description with duration as null value.

We couldnt able to find out the wherabouts of additional operation

which is getting added.

This problem is identified with specific order type. Also, when we

create order with the same order type directly using IW31 and attach

tasklist, we dont find any issues.

Any clue as why this is behaving like this ?

Regards,

Suresh

Hi,

The issue can occur if you have the following configuration - Notification is automatically created with the order AND the notification/order integration is configured with 'Assignment of Operations to All Notification Active'.

When the order is generated from the plan, the system transfers the task list operations into the operation list. The notification is also added to the object list and a operation is made for this entry. This is possibly how the extra operation is generated.

Customizing can be checked at the following IMG path:

-> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service

-> Maintenance and Service Processing

-> Function and Settings for Order Types

-> Define Notification - Order Integration

Review the setting of 'Assignment of Operations to All Notification Active'.
