We have Heading1 field maintained for most of characteristics in YRP, may be during when CT01/CT02 Transactions were active

now only CT04 is available and this transaction no longer allowing us to enter value in this field

Can some one please help/suggest

open CT04 and go to the tab of descriptions

there click the configuration icon for screen layout in top right corner of the description section.

in the pop-up click the admin button.

now you can see that the header1 and header2 fields have a flag to hide it from display.

Create an own display variant where these 2 fields are not hided .

you mean if it is standard that it takes some time until you receive an answer?

You certainly will not get an answer as quickly as you can get one in a forum.

I usually get answers after 2 or 3 days for low priority issues.

SAP Response:

As described in note 444891, characteristic headings are not used any more since release 4.6.

If you really need the characteristic headings in a newer release, please have a look at note 976617. Please be aware that the coding changes described in this note are a modification
