FRS error: Failed to put the file to file server.

Hi all,

Committing the export object to destination CMS failed Reason: File repository server error :Failed to put the file to file server.

Got this errors when moving few reports to quality from BIAR using import wizard.

The Cuid's match perfectly, so its not the Cuid mismatch.

Any inputs on what could be the possible reason is ahigly appreciated.

How many objects in that import ?

Have you tried increasing FRS timeout to 60 from default 10 ?

Tracing import Wizard and/or FRS might help to narrow down the issue.

Also, are the objects on which you get the error always the same ?

there maight be an inconsistancy in your repository on destination, if you have Xi3.1 - run repository diagnostic tool to check it and fix any issues, then re-import...

Thanks for the reply. We moved couple of reports but i have this error only with a particular object repeatedly.

It just has 3 reports in that object.

Simple solution is to find this object in the destination CMC, check it's properties and locate it in the FRS, then delete it there and re-import.
