AA 629 error : Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for th

Hi all,

While doing MIRO in the current date for a GR which was done in 2010, we are encountering the following error :

AA629 "Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the area &".

We use to change the corresponding Asset ID to allow negative entries earlier, but it is not working.

Need your help to resolve the problem.

Hi,

Financial postings closed, confirm from business and open FI Periods (OB52) and check AA Closed FY (OAAQ)

Is there any other way out as m not sure "OB52" is something, which will be accepted by the business so easily.??

The OAAQ shows 2009 as closed period...??

With this what i can get is that the 2010 period is still open...

If that is the case then why this error is coming on the screen..??

Asset Accont FY is opened but FI posting periods and Fiscal Year 2010 Closed in OB52

Hi all,

Is there anyway out where i can mass upload the data for such negative postings to be set as ticked.

We have approx 180 such asset nos.

Hi,

Read OSS Note: 20347 & 302756 & 139899

Go to the asset master depreciation tab and double click on 10 depr area,

Once in the next screen check negative values allowed and now try to post the entry. It will allowed.
