Hi,

As you said, you have error "Allowed posting period : 10 2010/ 09 2010 / 12 2009". So in system ,you have current period 10 & year 2010.

But now the current YEAR is 2010 & PERIOD is 11.(if fiscal year variant V3)

Now 1st check your Posting Period Variant for your company code in t.code: OBY6

Now check in MM side in t.code MMRV t.code for your company code & You should have Following

Current Period 11 2010

Previous Period 10 2010

Last Period in prev. year 12 2009

OR else open the period in MMPV t.code.

Now check in FI side your REQUIRED PERIODS are open or not ( 10,11 for year 2010), if not open periods in Account Types A, K, D,M, S and specially Account Type u201C+u201D which stands for valid for all accounts type with Posting Period Variant.

you are from India.

to my knowledge in India the government's financial year runs from April 1 to March 31st.

So April is period 1 and March period 12

the error says that your current period is 10 2010

According to the financial period, today, February, must be period 11.

In other words, you have not rolled the period in MMPV from 10 to 11 when January changed to February.

use MMPV for your company code and bring the posting period to the current period.

chek the Tr.code: OMSY

and chek the postinf perios, It is exact as ( i.e current period 02,20110

If it is not then then close trhe perioad in Tr. code: MMPV till you get the current perioad,

Aslso chek in Tr. code: OB52,

your query will resolve

what posting date does the user enter in MIRO, what period does he enter.

according to the long text of the message 10 2010 is your current period. Can this be true?
