Error on /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui object expected

Hello Guru's,

today we use our ESS/MSS like every day, but something is wrong.

The manager try to check there Tasks and get a error at opening webgui (/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui) of background system.

The IE write the following error:

Yesterday all was fine.

Somone has a suggestion, what could wrong now?

PS: service is activated, and users with full restrictions get the same error,

a check on our SolMan the webgui works, so it coul't be a browser error

Thanks Chris. Both services were already active so I deactivated them and then reactivated and lone behold now it is working!

The services

/sap/public/bc/its/designs

and

/sap/public/bc/its/mimes

Must be activated, too.

We don't know, why they was't activated.

Hello,

Try uninstalling Google Toolbar or similar.

Note 596698 - Session Release Agent - Typical Problems & Troubleshooting If you use popup blockers with your browsers (i.e. Google toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, MSIE with SP2, etc ...), you have to deactivate blocking for those URLs that point to both the enterprise portal and integrated content servers (like SAP Web Application Server), SAP ITS, etc. See also CSN Note #706938. When using FPN installation (Federated Portal Network), the popups from the consumer-portal has to be allowed.
