Hi,

Make sure while configuration you must save your request in segregation part as per your understanding this will help you to identify in another server.

All the best.

Hi,

I can help with the steps but make sure you are the correct person who can do this transport,

Steps are as follows:

--Login to the client you wish to import the request to

--Execute STMS transaction which is used for transporting packages from one server to another

--Click on import overview(it's a truck icon)

--It will show u the client's / system that are in that landscape type for r/3

--Then click on specific system say if it QA then click on QA group

--Refresh it to see the request auto populate in the required server

--Then just click on the request and import it

Your transport will be done.

I hope this helps resolve your query to some extent.

Thanks and regards

Hi .

1. please understand your system landscape first then

2. if it is same client you can use scc1 transaction where you can copy from golden client to your client

3. suppose if you release the request from golden client, if you want to move to quality, that particular request will be queue in quality after which you have to import the request to quality server after importing to quality server it will be in queue in production server. Then you have to import the request to production. For this you have to use the transaction stms_import

Transport Request only is used to keep all changing in current system & move into other system.

If you want to check your transport request, just go T-CODE SE09 or SE10 then find your TR. You can see which object has been modified, & some think else.

If you want to move TR into other system ( eg: system B & your TR in system A), access this system B, using T-CODE SCC1:

on this screen: Source Client: System A.

Transport request is the ID of your TR.

That's all!

Hi,

Transport request we usally say TRN this will generate at the time of new development or u r configuring something in system likin development client. For ex. u have created a Info group so TRN will generate and u will save that Info group in that TRN. finally whn u have done with the testing and desired oupout will come then u will release the TRN through Tcode SE09 and send the mail to basis team for transport this TRN to Quality thn they will transfer it and the changes u have done in Dev. u can see in QA. after UAT ok the same TRN will move to PRD.

Hope it will help u to clear the concept.
