Error on Bex Web App Designer - XML Validation

Dear Friends,

We are on NW04s with BI 7.0, using Bex Web App Designer, and when I going to save the query the system display the follow massage: e:rswadprexec.006 XML VALIDATION1. Any help will be usefull.

Hi,

This error occurs when the ABAP-Java connectivity is not correctly configured. Please refer to the notes:

917950: SAP NetWeaver 2004s: Setting Up BEx? Web (Overview)

888687: BEx Web Java: Analysis of communication/logon problems (Details)

Some functions in WAD requires Java Stack (validation is one of these functions). Probably you also get error messages on loading and saving of Web Templates.

Just test if your portal connection is working:

1. Goto ABAP Program RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 (Using transaction SE38)

2. Open any template (you can use ANALYSIS_PATTERN)

3. Search in the buttons for "Runtime Format Preview" and press it.

-> If you get empty notepad, your connection ABAP-Java is broken.

We did this and get the following:-

Error during conversion - no detailed message text was supplied.

Message no. RSWADBACKEND016

However through the portal frontend- all is fine? Any ideas?
