An accounting document is not required for this billing document

Dear Experts,

I am getting the below mentioned error, when I am trying to create the billing the document.

I am able to see the billing document in VF02. But there is no accounting document.

An accounting document is not required for this billing document

Message no. VF076

Diagnosis

The billing document has the net value '0' and does not create an accounting document. Despite this, the posting status 'C' (Posting document has been created) is set internally for this billing document.

I tried to search sap notes. Notes are available for older versions. I am using IDES EHP5.

Already I tried this. Al these notes are old versions.

Hi Ashwin,

Check ,according to message ,what you are getting while doing the billing ,says. net value ZERO. If net value ZERO ,accounting document wouldn't post.

Check Pricing condition value also in billing document itself.

Thanks a lot for your replies.

Issue is resolved. In the billing plan amount is zero. After entering the percentage in the billing plan. amount has come. Accounting document is generated.
