In Web UI, WCF_CC displayed context node attribute does not exist in UI Configurations.

In Wizard Log, the log navigated to UI Config tool with erraneous fields highlighted in yellow.

Upon, selecting Show Mismatches'' the popup shows with two columns

1st Column with Field attribute & 2nd column 'No-Corresponding EFC-Element'.

Please explain what is EFC-Element.

Thanks.

Hi,

For your information regarding EFC.

EFC is the Effective Context used for the fields in the Configuration.

The different types of Effective context elements are

1. Context Node Attribute

2. Runtime Repository / View Area

3. Runtime Repository / View Assignment

These are handled at the Framework level of CRM Web UI.

Yes I exactly have these three categories of errors in WCF_CC.

Please help me with solutions to resolve these categories of problems with more detail steps.

Also please tell me where can I look for these information?

I couldn't find about this in SAP Press books, SDN, help.sap.com, service marketplace or using F1 help.

Is there any other place which I'm missing to search?

For the problems like: Viewarea Assignment does not exist: BP_DATA.BP_DATA/IDNumberWindow

I checked in the view's(BP_CONT/BPCONTOverview) configuration tab, I see BP_DATA.BP_DATA/IDNumberWindow in 'Displayed Assignment Blocks' with Load Option = 'Direct'

Thanks again.

Hi,

These information are not provided anywhere as part of documentation as it pertains to the Framework, and

it may not be relevant to provide this information as well.

FYI.

Viewarea Assignment does not exist: This error occurs when the view is not there in the Runtime Repository.

You will have to correct the Runtime Repository to remove the inconsistency/mismatch. In other words

if the Runtime Repository Element is in effective context. This is of the Effective context type

Runtime Repository / View Assignment

Hi,

It would be because the assignment to design layer is missing for those fields.

Also it could be that the field is wrongly assigned to Design Layer as hidden field.
