creation of Multiple Shipments with respect to Single inbound.

Hi,

This is regarding creation of Multiple Shipments with respect to Single inbound.

In standard SAP, you can create Shipment cost based on Inbound number.Requirement is here for single inbound can we create multiple Shipment document.

Can we do shipment costing for Multiple shipment in single document through VI01.

Yours Help in this will be highly appreciated.

You mean one inbound delivery from point A to B and multiple shipment documents from A to B? No, this is not possible. You can have a shipment from A to B or a shipment document for the forerun (?), the main leg and the post-carriage (?). But when you assing a inbound delivery to a shipment document, it is alway the complete delivery, not parts of it.

No, there is always a 1:1 relationship.

Creation of multiple shipments for a single delivery is always possible.

Creation of single shipment cost document for multiple shipments - just try using VI04 transaction..

Ensure that, all of your shipments have same shipment cost document type assigned in the config (transaction: T_57).

I have not tried this.. but, still make a try using this transaction..

Just try and revert.

Are you using any legs ?.If you legs (preliminary ,Main and Subsequent ) then it is possible to create multiple shipments other wise one shipment only possible.You can do costing shipment wise in this case for one inbound you can see multiple shipmenmts.
