vendor return Not Updating RG23A part I

Hi

I make a return PO. Then in MIGO i issue by 161 movement type. When But my part I is not reflected in part I and reduced by the quantity with reference to issue document. When i am going to J_1IPART1 table. Material document of 161 is there but goods movement direction is R which is for receipt. This is a strange problem.

But return process is working fine for 122 movement type. There it is not R but I which is i guess desired.

Please help.

HI,

In MIGO for 161 have you select part1 option on excise tab ?

Hi,

My movement type is maintained in RG23A.in Movement types relevant for Outgoing Excise Invoice. I have tried in MIGO excise tab only Part I. Same thing is happening. Even i removed 161 from spro then it is not coming to part I table.

Please help.

Dear,

Use transaction code J1IS in reference of Material document of MT

and then,

Post the excise invoice by using the transaction code J1IV.

If i make 161 non relevant then no excise invoice tab is getting populated and then no entry in part I table not be receipt or issue

Hi,

First make 161 movement relevant for excise in J_1IMVMT table just like your 122 movement.

Then run J1I5 for the 161 material document. This will update part1 table

But J1IS is not for part I. But part I is updated by 161. Its getting updated but wrongly by receipt "R" but is should be "I".

Hi,

if J_1IPART1 table is updated via MIGO for 161 document then it will update it as receipts instead of issues.

So during MIGO 161 chose option "No excise entry" and then update J_1IPART1 table for that docuemnt via J1I5 only then

it will update it as issue entry.

give material document manually there ,you know document number

When you will do J1I5 for this Mat. Doc. with Classification IPD then it will be updated with status as "I" Issue with IPD in table J_1IPART1 , Presently if you check R will show with GRPO status, after with IPD in J1I5 only status will change to Issue, Check

Check in SPRO -> Logistics General ->Tax on Goods Movements ->India ->Business Transactions ->Incoming Excise Invoices ->Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices, Check Mvt.type 161 is maintained there or not, If not them maintain there & try your Scenario.
