After EHP6, getting bus. area error in TBB1

During testing for upgade to EHP6, when TBB1 (Treasury Post Flows) is ran, the following error is received...

Field Bus. Area is a required field for G/L account 1XXXXXXX

Message no. F5808

Error in update to Accounting; see log

Message no. TPM_TRAC1153

Any Input?

The error is only occuring when securities transactions are created from new security ID numbers. When using older IDs to create new transactions with TS01, there is no business area error when posting flows with TBB1. Any ideas?

For the type of securities in which we were getting errors from the new transctions being created, the business area was assigned to the account assingment reference for the type of security in question. There was no resolution on why only errors were being received from newer transactions created from newer security IDs and no errors from IDs that were created in the past.

Hi,

Looks like a FI error. Is new G/L activated? Please check the document splitting characteristics or the G/L field status setting.

No. New GL is not activated.
