Hi
I go to SPROXY Transaction of my AII system and I see this, Local Objects Only - No Connection to the ESR,
What should I do so that I get all my objects here?

Hi,
Have a look at chapter 3 of this wiki page:
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=72123509
It describes the required SPROXY pre-configuration.
Hope this helps,
Greg

The Gateway Host and Gateway Server in RFC Destination, are they case sensitive?
And after selecting SAP system as application system, do we have to select RFCDestination of type G or type H ?
Corresponding Integration server, should this be dest://INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI or dest:// followed by RFC Connection of type G?

Dear ,
>>> Gateway Host and Gateway Server in RFC Destination, are they case sensitive?
No, they aren't.
>>> do we have to select RFCDestination of type G or type H
Type H - HTTP Connection to ABAP system
>>> Corresponding Integration server, should this be dest://INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI or dest:// followed by RFC Connection of type G?
Actually, it is dest://RFCdestination, with the destination of type H
Hope this helps,
Greg
Well, you are right that this should not be the case. You can solve it easily: in the RFC Destination definition go to Logon & Security tab page and provide a uset name and a password there, at the bottom. And this should be some technical user, not you dialog one (so that the password remained constant, for instance). Then you should be able to test the connection without entering the credentials again, and your connection in SPROXY should work well.

Greg
Check List for Setting Up a Connection to the Service Repository
1. The address of the Enterprise Services Repository must be known in
the SAP system
Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS.
2. In order to connect to an ESR, you have to maintain the RFC
destination "SAP_PROXY_ESR". This RFC destination will then be used
by proxy generation / Transaction SPROXY. It has to be set up using
transaction SM59 and should look like this:
RFC Destination: SAP_PROXY_ESR
Connection Type: G (HTTP Connection to External Serv)
Description1: ESR for Proxy Generation
Target Host: esr_host
Service No: 1080
Path Prefix: /rep
Logon and Security:
Basic Authentication: active
User: esr_user
Password: esr_password

Please check these and let me know if there are any issues.

Hello,
In addition to the checks above you could also check the following:
- Integration Builder (Repository and Directory) applications are running in the J2EE Engine - check in the Visual Administrator / NWA
- Confirm the password of the PIAPPLUSER is correct, and that the user has not been locked.
- Confirm the Role of the Integration Server for the XI client in the SLD and SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration
- Check that the FQHN is used in the Exchange Profile for parameters com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name etc.
- If the application system is on release 620, ensure the add-on has been installed?
Kind regards,
Sarah
