reprocessing of failed idocs in sap pi

Hi Folks,

When we trigger a idoc a new idoc number will be generated,please let me know how to trigger a idoc with the old idoc number.

mightbe that is possiable by Re processing the idoc and t.code is  BD87

if idoc had been to sap pi Engine, why don't you  reprocess this idoc is sap pi ? pi has the function  to reprocess failed  message

if not yet arrived pi ,you must check where the idoc had been to , if this idoc had been generated at sap system.exam: if had been to sm58, you can use sm58 to repeat it. then idoc will go to pi without new number generated.

idoc at sm58 under most conditionally if idoc had been generated.

You can generate new Idoc No. by using transaction WE19.....

Hi Raj,

Change IDOCs status to using the report program RC1_IDOC_SET_STATUS in ECC to 30 and send them out using Transaction BD87 to SAP PI.
