Replace of message "No content available for this navigation node"

Former Member

Hello,

We are starting using SAP Netweaver Portal 7.03 and I have a doubt. When you click an option on the navigation area and below it there are only folders (there is no iview or pages) the Portal shows on the content area a message "No content available for this navigation node".

My issue is: Is it possible to assign an iview or page or something else to replace this message?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Nelson Bertolino

Hi Nelson,

Open the default framework -> Desktop inner Page -> Content Area
iView.

Change the Value of property "DefaultContent" from pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/noContentMessage to the pcd location of the iview or page you want.

For the Ajax FW,the location of the Content Area iview is:

portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/general/defaultAjaxframeworkContent/com.sap.portal.contentarea

Hi Nelson,

You can either add a so called "Landing" or "Overview" page to an area by using something like a workset map or service map iView.

OR

You can define that an existing iView or Page be the default for a given area - which means it should open it first when you click on that area.
