An internal error occurred while calling 'openDocumentMDP' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)

Hi everybody,

SAP BusinessObjects BOXi 3.1 (12.1.0.882)

I have a problem concerning just one report and few users :

- Some users can refresh that report in Webi Rich Client but not on BI LaunchPad.

- They can't scheduled it with the error message : An internal error occurred while calling 'openDocumentMDP' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)

I try to re-exported the webi also under another name, but it remains failure for some users.

Also, I verify the presence of that report in the IFRS --> OK

Did you have any idea to solve this problem ?

Hi Maurin,

This is a pretty generic error. There could be many reasons that you are getting this error. You can check the link below how to solve this problem. If it doesn't help you, then you should try openning a message to SAP about this error.

Can we check both the ODBC DSNs (32bit & 64 bit) in server with which the particular report refers with.
