Hie,

Following is the error which i am getting during the solution manager upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 at the Preprocessing phase.

Checks after phase MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG were negative!

Last error code set: Detected 59 errors summarizes in 'ACTUPG.ELG'
Check logfiles 'ACTUPG.ELG'

On checking up the logfile 'ACTUPG.ELG'  following information is displayed

The above error i am getting at the time of ETP155 ACTIVATION OF DD-OBJECTS on MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG phase of ABAP

When i check in the shadow instance then one data element /LICMAN/BSCLASSX of table /LICMAN/MS_CUST is not active and says

Data Element /LICMAN/BSCLASSX not available. But this same data element is active and available in the actual/real solution manager system on which we are doing the upgrade.

I am not even able to activate/create this data element /LICMAN/BSCLASSX in the shadow instance.

Please help on the above error.

Hello Mohammed,

it might be that Data Element /LICMAN/BSCLASSX has an inactive version (of even tables /LICMAN/MS_CUST*). Please check for that in SE11.

Moreover, these objects are not critical to your system, so you can safely ignore this error in ACT_UPG and proceed with the ugprade.

My issue resolved by ignoring this error and selecting option "Accept non-sever errors and repeat phase......."

Hello Mohammed,

Could you please login to shadow system with DDIC user and try to activate it manually.

If you get an activation error , attach it to message.

Also  SAP Note No. 211492 can be useful.
