BRF--Email notification to the requester after Shopping cart is fully approved or after rejection of Shopping cart is not going.

Hello Experts,

We are into SRM 7.0 and use Process controlled workflow. When Shopping cart is created an email is sent to the requester. After SC is approved or it is rejected then also an email/notification is sent to the requester.  This is not happening in our case. Do I have to customize any badi for this like bbp_alerting ? Do I have to implement any note ? Is it workflow realted issue ?

Please advise.  Share your idea/experience.

Best regards. Abhijit.

Hello Melina,

Thank you for your reply.

I have already gone through the above URL.

My question is, email notification sending to the requester after approval or rejection of the SC is a standard behavior or it has to be customized only in process controlled workflow ?

I heard this behavior should be standard. Is it correct ?

Best regards.

Abhijit.

Hi Abhijit,

It is something that you always can configure.

In ac is just do it at Define Recipient of Notifications. In PC, in addition,  you need to configure the events

alerts too:

APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_APPROVED
APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_REJECTED

Cheers,

Melina

Hi Rick,

I don't see any problem in remember the forum members that if the asnwer will help them they should award it accordingly.

Is simple if it is helpful people should award if not should not award.

Otherwise people will start not answering the questions cause no poits is given in any situation.

Cheers,

Melina

Hi Melina,

It is frowned upon on SCN. I've been here a while. Tip: don't mention points.

regards

Rick
