When I tried to run an export, got the following message:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable....
Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Crystal Reports XI Release 2. The Windows Installer cannot continue."
I pointed to where my old install version of CR was located. No luck.
I recently upgraded to CR XI R2A SP6. Got the update from this site:

Did you install the software yourself or did someone install it for you?
The point is, it is recommend to have the product installed by someone who has 'Local Admin rights'.

Thanks! I followed your advise....uninstalled, then reinstalled complete program. This time I did a Custom Install rather than a Typical Install. I included all the components including the Export feature.
It's now working just fine!
