Timestamp removal in Prompt on top of Bex

Hi Ours is BO 4.0 SP 05 Patch 1

.

We are having webi reports on top of Bex.

In Bex query,Calender Date variable is created which is not Timestamp. i.e in Bex analyzer or while ruuning query is rsrt the Caleder variable prompt is not showing Timestamp i.e it is not showing time while running report

But however in BO webi report it is showing along with time i.e Timestamp.

Please let me know is there any setting at the CMC side to remove the Timestamp in the prompt of the webi report.

Hello Gaurav,

In 3.1 you can modify ObjectFormat.xml to exclude the timestamp. But this does not work in 4.0. This issue is tracked under  the ID: ADAPT01650859 and fixed in the minor release 4.1.

The KBA which Rabeb has referred mentions an ADAPT with the ID: ADAPT01568550 which is also fixed in 4.1.

So I guess, you will have to wait for 4.1 release.

Even if the timestamp shows as 12:00:00 a.m. with the date, it does not cause any impact on the data retrieved from the database. Data is fetched for the date parameter passed.

Actually this issue has been identified as a product defedt in BI4.0 and is not yet fixed.
