Hi Friends,,
we are on ep 7.31 sp6 and implemented ESS WDABAP BP
We have a situation like, when ever a user logged in to portal to access ESS features, the users are displayed with the ess
data of the first logged in user.
(Explanation: When I logged in to portal and accessing ESS for the first (after starting our client desktop/laptop) I am
getting current information of the logged in user. But when I logged off from portal and logged in again using different
user ID,I am getting the same data of first logged in user, even when I logged off from portal again and log in with another
user, still I am getting the first logged in user data.I cleared the browser cookies and still the same issue)
I also assigned ESS WD JAva BP and they are showing perfect data of logged in users. But the issue is with the WD ABAP
business package.
I have assigned customized lpd_cust role, pfcg role and portal role.I created system object and implemented SSO using logon
tickets
My WDABAP business package version is :

Hi Prasad,
Please try this:
Login with User1 and check the data ?
Logout User1, Close your browser completely.
Restart your brower now.
Login with User2 and check the data now ?
If your are getting new (User2) data, that means the issue is not related to Portal, there is a problem with your browser cache.
I will explain you the necessary steps to be maintained in Browser.

Hi all,
Problem is solved by setting 2 values
1) ABAP Security Sessions Enabling in portal system object
2) Activate the Logoff service in SICF tcode in path
sap-->public-->bc-->icf-->

Hi Siddharth,
We are having the exact same issue. We cleared the cache of the browser, closed the browser, and restarted the browser. This works, but is not an acceptable solution for the client. They are concerned that employees who use kiosk that are shared with many employees will always complete all the steps to clear the cache each time they finish.
Connection is using SAP Logon ticket (SSO - trusted system)
EHP 6 WebDynpro ABAP ESS MSS
Any suggestions to avoid leaving it up to the user to clear the cache each time they log out?
Thanks,
Sherri
As per the note 1717945 you must set the property 'ABAP Security Sessions Enabled' to 'Yes' in the portal system object, per Note 1471069. Note: if you are not using HTTP Security Session Management on the backend, this value must be set to 'No'.
Have you checked this setting?
Regards,
Sahir.
