PI 7.3 Enterprise Services Repository ERROR while opening

Hi Guys,

PI 7.3 (AS JAVA + ABAP ), MSSQL-db, windows server 2008 r2,

1) getting following error message, while opening followign link

http://<host:port >/dir/start/index.jsp

Error - Some configuration parameters are missing or contain illegal values:
  com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name
   com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name
   com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name
   com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.name

2) while trying to open other link -integration builder - getting

Internal Error

Internal error; contact your system administrator  

Configuration error: Parameter "com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name" is not set

Correct the parameters in the ExchangeProfile

3) also tried to check ExchangeProfile its showin .xml file empty

>tried to maintain connection parameter in connection tab -but no success

kidnly suggest how to correct asap,

     Have u run post installation wizard ? u r exchange profile showing empty means you didn't

completed your installation.

Hi Prashun,

In order to change ExchangeProfile settings in a 7.3 system, you should go to the NetWeaver Administrator (url prefix /nwa) -> java instance properties -> Services -> select service "XPI Service: AII Config Service"

Here you will find the ExchangeProfile parameters. Just correct them and safe. You don't need to restart the engine to activate them.

Hi Mark,

I check values for 4 parameter 3was there , i added one value for parameter - all parameters shows value as host name with FQDN ,

but not reflecting any changes,

in log files getting this error-trace

No host name and HTTP port defined in Exchange Profile for sld.sid.host#

Hi Rohit,

looks like this is a consecutive error - you solved one and got to the next. Have you checked the entry for SLD host and port in Exchange Profile?

Have you registered all your components correctly via the Runtime Workbench ?

Also verify all your ExchangeProfile parameter values.

After adding parameter (ex -

XPI Service: CPA Cache

• SLD.selfregistration.hostName)  - default calculated value shows "" empty value , in custom value it get reflected ???

is this correct reflection /addition of parameters.

you should enter your fully qualified host name here as a custom value.

Don't forget to enter the ports in the following properties!

Hi Prashun,

does this mean your Exchange Profile is completely unavailable or empty? Do you go to http://<hostname>:<port>/dir and then Administration->Exchange Profile? What happens then? If you Exchange Profile should really be empty, then you have a problem with your installation. If it is only that the mentioned parameters in your error messages are not set then this is the location to enter them.

In any case, reason for this error is that the system looks for certain values in the Exchange Profile and is for some reason not able to find them.
