Former Member

Dear All,

We are on ECC 6 with Ehp 6 and with Portal EP 7.0 with Ehp2. We are struck with the Roles that needs to be given in R/3 and as well in Portal.

Since we are unable to see the Recruiter dash board, Recruiter admin page, i think there is a problem with the roles .

What are the roles that needs to be assigned in R/3 and in EP

Pls help me in this regard.

Best Regards,

Srikanth

Hi Nicole,

Thanks a lot for the thread.

Issue with the Roles has been solved, i am able to see only the ESS role, recruiter and Recruiter admin role in EP only.

At present having  issue with the External candidate.

At present, The Portal is in  Private Connection (We can access only from the Company Network) . In this case How can i able to test the External candidate Scenario like Dash board etc.

The Services for the external candidate in SICF are working properly .

Can you let me know where am i missed ??

There is no dashboard for the external candidates. They don't logon to the portal but to the webdynpro pages directly (like startpage, register page, unreg search)

Andy,

Thanks. What if i want to test the External candidate scenario.

Are you saying to test from SICF and test the ABAP WD's.??

Correct me if i am wrong.

Hi Srikanth,

To test external candidate pages you always need to make sure you have no SSO certificates on because otherwise you are automatically logged on with that user and not an external user.

To deactivate the automatic SSO using in IE do following:

  1. Check to which zone the webpage belongs to. e.g "Local
    intranet"
  2. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security
  3. Choose the appropriate zone
  4. Click on Custom Level
  5. Set the option "Don't prompt for client certificate when no
certificates or only one certificate exists" to disable and click OK
    twice.
  6. You will now get prompted for a certificate when you access a SSO
    enabled
web page. Click "Cancel" to access the web page without SSO or
OK to use SSO to authenticate.

Nicole,

Thanks. Will check and get back to you.

After deactivating the SSO, do we need to test the services from SICF or through some other means..??

Can you clarify..

Hi Srikanth,

You need to take the URL from SE80 for example and copy it to your browser.

If you test it directly from SE80 or SICF your backend user is automatically taken as logon user.

Hello Sree,

You should start by registering an external candidate using the application hrrcf_a_candidate_registration. For this, you need to set-up the corresponding ICF service in SICF as described in SPRO (enter a generic "unregistered candidate" user in the logon data tab).

You should also have set-up authorizations properly otherwise the creation of the user in background will not work (set-up reference user for external candidate).

Once your candidate is created, you can access the other external candidate services like the cockpit (hrrcf_a_candidate_profile_ext).

See also SAP note 1017866 for more information.

Hope it helps,

Julien

Are you receiving an error? Anything in the trace (transaction SLG1)?

Former Member

No error, it was not reaching to SLG1.

Termination type was :  RABAX_STATE.

CL_WDR_MESSAGE_MANAGER========CP

In the end of the page :

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error

Your SAP Internet Communication Framework Team

In our scenario, both our ECC and E-REC are on the same instance.

Anything in ST22 then?

Yes, ST22 Dumps are getting recorded.

"

The exception 'CX_WD_ABORT_MESSAGE_MANAGER' was raised, but it was not caught
anywhere along
the call hierarchy.

Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
'CL_WDR_MESSAGE_MANAGER========CP' has to be
terminated."

Breifly this was the error.

When i am opening an URL for the service : hrrcf_a_candidate_profile_ext , i am getting an error :

The URL call
http://bledev.balmerlawrie.com:1080/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/hrrcf_a_candidate_profile_ext
was terminated because of an error.

  • The following error occurred in system DEV : Internal Error

  • The error occurred on application server BLEDEV_DEV_00 and in work process.

  • The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

  • The ABAP call stack was:

But based on the above description(Infact i have given the dump), unable to explain the error.

This service is working fine when i log in to the portal.
