SAP PI 7.3 - Pass source file name to target file name without dynamic configuration

Hi Experts,

I have recently started working on the new version of SAP PI. I have a pass through scenario in which I have to transfer file from source system to the target using PI provided the file name remains the same.

Since this is a pass-through kind of scenario, I do not wish to use dynamic configuration as it will involve ESR object configuration. Is there a possibility this can be achieved without dynamic configuration?

Which adapter type do you use for sender?

You don't need any ESR development.

Just enable "Set dynamic Attributes->Filename" in the sender and "Use dynamic attributes->Filename" in the receiver.

In the determinations and agreements (or integrated config) you enter any service interface name, but just don't create anything it in the ESR.

Hi Arkesh,

Just enable ASMA (FileName check box) in both sender, receiver file channels. That's all. As you mentioned there is no need for ESR objects.
