phase PREP_SPACECALC/GET_CLONE_SIZE, error : brconnect exited with 5

Hi,

We are about upgrading ERP System from EHP4 to EHP6.

Upgrade was brocken in phase PREP_SPACECALC/GET_CLONE_SIZE due to the following Error:

1EETQ399 Last error code set is 'brconnect exited with 5'

1EETQ204 Upgrade phase "GET_CLONE_SIZE" aborted with severe errors

Please see the attached logfile GET_CLONE_SIZE.LOG.

3 ETQ399 20130827171149: PID 13369552 execute '/usr/sap/SID/SUM/abap/exe/brconnect -u -p /usr/sap/SID/SUM/abap/tmp/SPACESTAT.LST -c -f stats -f allsel,collect,space -p 8 -RDB' in background, output written to '/usr/sap/SID/SUM/abap/log/ORA_COLLSPCSTAT.LOG'.

What is your BRtools version. Please update the BRtools, this should solve the issue. If still have the issue, attach the ORA_COLLSPCSTAT.LOG

Hi,

Please check this note . I think you will require new BRtools.

1832336 - Error: "ORA-01405: fetched column value is NULL" during upgrade phase GET_CLONE_SIZE
