EHS Report Shipping - SDS send to Sold To Party, instead of Ship To Party

Dear experts,

Our currently EHS Report Shipping solution only automatically send SDS to Ship To Party or their Contact Persons (with MSDS Receiver function).

We have a requirement that SDS should be sent to Sold To Party for couple countries, and the rest of the world continue to send to Ship To Party.

Is that possible to configure Partner determination procedure WESR or other related Customization to meet the above requirement?

Quote from SAP Library : Partner determination procedure WESR

For report shipping, the partner determination procedure ship-to party material safety data sheet recipient (WESR) has been set up. In the standard system, the partner determination procedure WESR contains the obligatory partner functionsMSDS recipient (SR) and ship-to party (WE). The ship-to party is generally also the MSDS recipient. This means that both partner functions with identical addresses are assigned as standard to a business partner that belongs to a particular account group.

As it is possible that the recipient of a report is not always the ship-to party, the SAP System allows you to enter a different address for the MSDS recipient or to specify a number of MSDS recipients.

Thanks,

KC

Hi KC,

Try the following options.

1. system determines the customer(SH) partner while the sales order is saved and SDB output get triggered. From here std program(RSNAST00) runs and shipping orders are created.

2. At the time of SDB generation there are 2 programs (user exits ) called ,one for generation variant determination( better if it is base on country in your case) and language( from TCGRL table). You can check the user exits with C1CA* ,i beleive they are c1ca004 and 005 but not sure. In this programs you would have already mentioned the ship to party as your MSDS   customer.

3.In the assosiated FM for the user exits mentioned, above write a logic by which if your particular country generation variants are selected with languages the MSDS send to should be as sold to party.

4. In the customer master you need to maintain the sold to party as your SR partner. Also from SD side there need to be some check by which a particular sold to customer belongs to your country of interest. This your SD consultant can help you .

hope this helps .

Regards

George

George,

Thanks for the advise. I checked it is the C1CA0005 RGV Determination User Exit should be enhanced to include logic of setting Sold TO Party based on Country as SDS Recipient.

I am reviewing the User Exit in details to identify the exact portion of code should be performed the enhancement.

Thanks,

KC
