Hi,
How do you delete a dataset in SAP Lumira desktop?
How do you unmerge datasets in SAP Lumira?
What is the maximum number of rows that SAP Lumira can query from the BI4 Universe.
Thanks
Marc
Hi Marc,
at this point it is not possible to delete or unmerge datasets in Lumira.

Clarissa,
In regards to deleting datasets in Lumira, it IS possible.
DELETING A DATASET
By default:
Local files are stored at
**Local User account**--->Documents--->SAP Lumira Documents --->
In this folder you'll see the list of all the datasets that you've imported into SAP Lumira.
Feel free to delete the datasets that you don't want anymore, and RESTART Lumira for the changes to show up.
While we don't have any information on unmerging, we are going to work on the process, and get back to you about that as soon as we can.
If you have any additional information, or run into any further situations, feel free to let us know.

Hi,
To delete the data from Lumira, Go to Share room in Lumira and export the Dataset as Excel files and delete the unwanted data and then Refresh it in Lumira. The deleted data will not be shown.

Hey Marc,
Here's a quick video on deleting the data sets in Lumira Desktop. http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-47731.
If you are looking to un-merge a data set, you will essentially need to re-acquire the original data set, which should be listed in SAP Lumira. If we find a better way to do this, we will keep you informed.

Hi,
i'm not aware of any possible workarounds, and I can't comment on the chances of the implementation this feature.
There are already a number of suggestions of this kind on our ideas place, see search results here SAP: Search if you could add your vote to the most appliable, or create your own submission?

H
Hi Marc,
For now, to unmerge, we can delete the data sets as Irshaad mentioned
**Local User account**--->Documents--->SAP Lumira Documents --->
& start from creation of data sets from the scratch - So that we start of with unmerged data.

Arun.

Hi Marc,
Kindly refer the following, related to your last query:
http://scn.sap.com/thread/3378134
Also, you can do the following operations with datasets:
1. Add another dataset to the available datasets
2. Switch to another dataset
3. Merge two datasets.
4. Append two datasets
So, I dont think so that deletion and unmerging is possible with the correct version.
