Error: A suitable Java Virtual Machine could not be found

When I try to install Download Manager it gives error message "Error: A suitable Java Virtual Machine could not be found". What is the problem. I have installed latest JRE version 7 Update 40.

I have seen one note 1920326 which say SAP JVM will be required for every SAP Product. Also let me know if for B1 Installation SAP JVM is required or it is required only for Download Manager.

Thanks

Parag Rane.

Hi Parag,

It required for Download manager only. SAP b1 installation dont require JVM.

Hi Parag,

Try delete the registry value "JVM" from the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\SLD\Parameter\Java.

*Before you check the installation log files for details.

Hi All,

Further if I click on install.exe it say "installer user interface mode not supported"

Then I created bat file as below

#51043021_5.zip DownLoadmanager

#*********************************************************************************************

C:\Parag\SAP\SAP\Setup\SAP_Download_Manager_1.0_Installation_\Windows\NoVM\install -i GUI

pause

then it says

Error: A suitable Java Virtual Machines could not be found.

I have windows 8 Pro, 6GB RAM

Thanks,

Parag Rane.

Hi,

This is SAP Business one forum. Please find correct place to post and get quick response from experts. Further, the above SAP note 1920326 refers to SAP not SAP Business one.
