Hi Suresh,

User list Details : Ask Your Core team numbers or client end. End user list details will provide your client.

Authorizations: Ask your basis team. They will provide authorizations details as per your requirement.

Dear Suresh

you need to be more specific as required by Edward and Dhinesh. General: any "access concept" is "company driven" therefore nobody can really help you regarding roles etc.SAP is delivering something; yes; but you will always adapt it. The set up of an access concept depends on the internal organization of a company and how it is used, which data model is used etc. and clearly which module is in focus (or which application as part of SAP EHS Management should be used).

Hi Suresh,

You have to be more specific in your question if you want a direct answer, since the answer will be different depending of which EHS module you are asking about.

A general answer could look like:

In several of the EHS components there is several process roles where a user should have some authorization.

Step 1 is to identify which process roles do you need in a component.

For each process role there is some actions the user should be able to do.

Step 2 is to identify which  actions should the user be able to perform.

Next step is to identify how the component is intended to be used in the organization.

In one process step in a component there can be a cross-plant access and in a later step this can change to a plant limitation.

In other components it don't make sense to use the company hierarchy.

Step 3 is to identify how organizational structure of the component should be.

I will recommend to involve the application owner and the business and let them describe the requirements to the role/authorization matrix which they need for the component.

And this has to be done for both the SAP back end (SAP ECC) and for the front end (Portals are used in some components)

Step 4 create a role matrix.

And finally step 5 create the needed roles.

Dear Suresh,

Please be clear with the roles/authorizations with respective module. Are you looking for SAP EHSM CE3.0 or the classic version.

Dhinesh
