NWBC for HTML 3.6 - No theme for WD4A Applications

Former Member

Hi everybody,

we are in the process of upgrading to Netweaver 7.4.

It comes with NWBC for HTML version 3.6

My problem is that WD4A applications are rendered without a theme (screenshot attached).

I tried to set the theme in transaction /UI2/NWBC_CFG_CUST as described here: https://help.sap.com/saphelp_uiaddon10/helpdata/en/14/c639e6b3b5418e9e8a42dc617ce1f5/content.htm?fra...

This didn't help.

Anything I can try before opening a ticket?

TIA,

Thomas

Based on the screenshot, it looks like your custom theme is not found. Make sure you are accessing NWBC using the /ui2/nwbc alias instead of /nwbc. Also use Fiddler, HttpFox, HTTPwatch or something similar to see which URL is being used to access the theme.

Hi Samuli,

thanks for your quick reply.

We are not using a custom theme.

I am accessing nwbc using the path /sap/bc/ui2/nwbc

All WD4A look ugly . The http trace shows that a request for a css stylesheet goes wrong (status code 404.) The url of this request is as follows

http://<host>:<port>/sap/public/bc/themes/~client-180/~cache-Y7pN2PDvMHXlThQJiwEYydgGLnY/~legacy//ls...

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Thomas

found a workaround: If I set the parameter THEME to sap_tradeshow_plus  using the name of my cockpit as filter in transaction /UI2/NWBC_CFG_CUST it works.

However only sap_tradeshow_plus is working sap_corbu seems not to be supported for WD4A applications so far.

Corbu works just fine with WDAs, that is what it was designed for.

well, if I set the theme to sap_corbu a message is shown that says "Corbu theme is not supported for this application. Please see SAP Note 1681286".

This happens for example for application ZHRES_INBOX_1_ACNF.

Maybe that is another problem? I checked the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3380030.

Thanks,

Thomas
