Today I’ve tried to change my own password on a single stack Java only PI system but I haven’t found an opportunity for doing that. The only way I know is to use the UME and to give me a new initial password. But this can’t be the only solution. Perhaps I have users for monitoring or development without any rights to access the UME.
Hi Gil
I think we need a spactial user role to change our own password:
I open the the following path:
http://yourhost:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~sec~ume~wd~umeadmin/UmeAdminApp
and found manage your profile option as below but i also don't have access to change:

Hi Gil,
That is not possible as far as I know. The only possibility is to set centrally that the password expires and the user needs to enter a new password. Password self-service is not provided as standard. For this SAP IDM can be used.
