Hello All,
in our report we have two info objects (hierarchy enabled) , but for one info object we are not able to use "Find members" in Filter by member.
I have checked the Query properties for both the info object, both are similar. Also i have tried using Flat presentation, in that find member is working fine. But we need this option in Hierarchy .
Screenshots:
1. Find member option is enabled info object.
2. Find member option greyed out.
Let me know if there is any settings to enable this option.
Thanks,
Jaya
Hi Jay,
Could you please check if following notes are relevant for you?
- 1814573 - Suche Hierarchien nicht verfügbar (supports member access)
Unfortunately this note hasn't been translated yet, but it describes a behavior similar to yours. Please check if this note has been implemented on your BW system.
- 1256547 - HIER: Checking the hierarchy size
For performance reasons, the search is disabled for hierarchies that are larger than 50.000 (default threshold value). Please take a look at this note for information how to change the threshold if necessary.
Best regards,
Patrik

Hi Patrick,
As you mentioned, I have checked both the notes in system.
1256547 - HIER: Checking the hierarchy size this note is applied in our system.
If we change the size of Hierarchy, will it impact the Performance of Report.
Thanks,
Jay
Hi Jay,
Is the field you are trying to filter on a prompt?
Once you have an initial filter on your prompt, you will not be able to search for the hierarchy within the filter dialog boxes. You will need to select the prompt dialog.
This is apparently by design, which I personally am not found of.
