Cache Update issue in PI 7.3

Hello All,

We currently upgraded to SP10 from SP05 and we are on PI 7.3(Dual stack).

After upgrading we are facing the issues in Cache of ID and when ever we change any object we are getting below error message.

"Unable to notify Integration Server affected by data changes

HTTP connection to http://<PIserver>/sap/xi/cache?sap-client=100 returns status code '500' (Internal Server Error) in response"

When I did the cache connectivity test, the integration server -ABAP is in error and it is giving me the issue of "Cache notification from Integration Directory failed: Error when notifying cache receiver"

Regards,

Rahul Kulkarni

Hi Rahul - Go to Sxi_Cache and press F7 which should tell you if there is anything wrong with the configuration.

If it doesn't show any error may be you can try restarting as 500 is something we when the server is not reachable/components are down..

Hi Harmesh,

After doing f7 I can see that only Compress response is in red and its value is - "is not set to no"

Hi Rahul - I don' think that is an issue.

from the PI tools(sxmb_ifr) page -> go to administration -> directory -> data cache

Try refreshing it from there..

Hi Harmesh,

I that case it will ultimately go to delta/full cache refresh which I have already tried....:(

Agreed.. the only difference is you can execute it at component level.

Did you try restarting?
