Matrix Organization in OM

Can someone please point me to some reading material or config material on Matrix Organization in OM. I have read documentation available on help.sap.com but am looking for more information.

Hi Learner,

Matrix reporting in OM is very client specific, for which you may not get any std document.

In an organization when ever you have dual reporting -- > Employee reporting to 2 persons -

Employee belongs to “A” org unit, but reports to Manager who belongs to “B” org unit, such thing may be termed as MATRIX in OM. There are so many examples look at the picture in your client OM… seek more in-depth information... that may help you.

hi,

am struggeling with this answer.

please let's discuss the example of "Team Matrix". how can this technically be implemented. does every SAP customer have to invent his own relationships and evalutation paths (and pay for consulting) or is there a SAP default/proposal available?
